American Heart Association's Go Red for Women has joined forces with Miss America's Scholarship Foundation to raise both research dollars AND tuition scholarships, ensuring a healthier, smarter future for women in America. In Memorial To Minnesota's First Miss America
BeBe Shopp Miss Minnesota 1948 and Miss America 1948
​1930-2025

​It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of BeBe Shopp, Miss Minnesota 1948 and crowned Miss America 1948. BeBe was the longest living Miss America to date. The swimsuit picture was taken at Miss Minneosta 1948 (BeBe front row Miss Hopins 4th from L) and Miss Moorhead Dolores Mae Setter (Back row, 4th from R). BeBe was truely a treasure of Minnesota, always representing with dignity, grace, and beauty inside and out! She will be missed greatly by everyone who knew and loved her!
