One week ago, Concordia student Jacob Schoenborn and I spoke at a press conference to kick-off Gun Sense and Safety week where students and community members are signing letters to Senator Kupec in support of Senate File 1116 and 1117. Last week, we already had 150 letters and this week we have even more! With the overwhelming amount of gun casualties, action is long overdue and I encourage everyone, regardless of political affiliation, to learn more about these bills and how our government is handling gun violence.
